Increase Website Traffic with an E-CourseTrying to get more website traffic is always an issue for website owners. The more traffic your website receives, the more chance you have of making sales and making money online. One way to help generate website traffic is by offering a free autoresponder e-course.
Offering a free e-course is a great way to get more traffic to your website and start to build up your mailing list. People love getting things for free so you are sure to get people to sign up for your e-course if you offer it for free. The advantage here is that each time a lesson of your e-course is delivered to someone, you are exposing them to the ‘pitch’ you include for your product or service. More exposure means that you have a better chance of making a sale.
Also, when people sign up for your free autoresponder e-course, you can add them to a mailing list. You can then send out new offers to them on a regular basis without having to worry about ‘spamming’ them. (Didn’t they already agree to receive emails from you?)
Making your e-course free to your visitors has a few more advantages. One is that people who have already signed up for your course and found useful information from it will be apt to recommend the course (and your website) to their friends, thereby increasing website traffic even more. Everyone loves to pass on a good offer to their friends. (Hint: be sure to include a “Share this with a Friend” button on your website.)
Another advantage to offering a free c-course is that it sets you up as being an expert in your field. If your website visitors see you as an expert, you will become a trusted source for them and as someone they trust, they will be more likely to buy your product or service. Trust over the internet is a huge issue to the buying public.
When you are setting up your free autoresponder e-course be sure that the course lessons are in line with what your website and products and services are all about. If you website is about selling car parts, for instance, make your e-course about “How to Build a Car Engine” or “Tips for Keeping Your Classic Car Running Smoothly”. You want your customers to be already interested or involved in what you have to sell.
It is not difficult to find autoresponders to deliver your e-course to your prospective students. There are many free ones available that are quite good. To find one, all you have to do is type in “free autoresponders” into any search engine and you will receive a list of them to choose from. You can also choose to buy an autoresponder that may offer more features than the free ones.
If you are worried about how to set up an e-course, this does not have to be a difficult thing to do either. All you need is a group of articles with useful information on one subject to form an e-course. Then you set your autoresponder to send out the articles one at time over a time period of your choosing. You can send out the articles daily, every other day, once a week, etc. You can have a set amount of lessons for the e-course (the basic minimum being about 5 articles) or you can have an on-going course. With an on-going course, you will have more opportunities to expose people to your offers for your product or services. Of course, with each lesson you should include your ‘pitch’.
If you feel you don’t have the talent or the time to write the articles yourself, you can buy PLR articles in packages that you can string together to form an e-course. With PLR articles you can change the articles or add new and relevant information to them to allow them to fit in with your offer more easily. And with PLR you can save time by not having to do all the research that may be involved for the course material.
You also have the option where you may want to hire a writer to writer the course material for you. Although you may have to pay a price for this, the cost will be returned to you by the orders you receive from the customers that sign up to receive your free e-course.
Offering a free autoresponder e-course will sure to increase website traffic and sales. Each time people sign up for your free autoresponder e-course, and with each new lesson they receive, you have the opportunity to turn them into paying customers.
